Gelsomina is the female protagonist in Fellini's The Road. The performer evokes her figure. It is a fallible figure of a circus performer, who keeps searching for her place. Who is on one hand a clown driven by the urge to perform and show herself, but on the other hand a lonely figure, who lives in the world of ego-monsters, demons and apparations. She longs for love, tenderness, attention and communication, and of course for bringing joy to the audience with her performance.

The performance, which was created in 2008, describes the struggles and joyes of a freelancer.
