18th April 2011 / 7.30 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what a story is good for? Telling lies? Creating Myths? Reinventing ourselves? Maybe just a desperate attempt to create a fiction for ourselves so that we can be placed by others. Step inside The Story Room.
We are all storytellers, every one of us has stories that are waiting to be told. When we read a sentence from a novel we fill in the gaps and build the pictures. When we see a young woman walk unsteadily on to the stage our intuition immediately wants to guess at the reasons behind it: tragedy or a broken heart or maybe confusion. Every night there will be different stories - we don't know where tonight's stories will lead us but with the power of your presence and everything that you bring with you, words, your memories, experiences, some music, an object, a piece of clothing - anything you think might provide an impulse for the actors on stage to develop and create with we will find our story.
